Fishing in the Panama City area is consistent throughout the year offering angling adventures to clients no matter when they visit the area.  The spring time fishing is dominated by the extremely popular cobia run that Panama City has throughout the months of March and April.  These pelagic fish can be caught by sight fishing the beaches and presenting either a jig or live eel and for the adventurous anglers, fly.  There is nothing like watching a big cobia suck down a live eel on the surface, a very popular trip here at North Florida Outfitters.  Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and other inshore species are available almost year round with live bait and artificial methods as well as fly.  Tarpon season comes in around the middle of May and lasts throughout the summer months.  These trips are generally the most popular with excellent success rates and expert knowledge to follow the migration and get clients in front of fish.
